Who are we?

Smart Buggers is a community of xbox-live gamers. While we are a clan and play in competitive matches, we are not elitist who only care about wins and losses. We strive for a balance between having fun and being competitive.

 

Who are our members?

Smart Bugger members are people who simply enjoy gaming on xbox-live. These members excel in their gaming skill because of their dedication to the video-game hobby. While Smart Bugger members are never novices to games, we do not judge each other solely on skill. The most important attribute of a Smart Bugger member is being sociable, supporting, friendly, and dedicated to the community. For that reason, no member will ever be "kicked" out of the clan because of a lack of skill compared to others.

 

How is your clan structure?

SmartBuggers isn't a clan in the traditional sense. We understand that individuals play games to have fun and few games are fun for months on end. When enough members are interested in playing compatitive matches for a game, we will assist them in creating that clan. Also, if enough members are within a clan or lead by a member, SmartBuggers will "sponsor" them. In this way, members are able to find clans with their friends in them. The reason why we only sponsor clans with members is simple.... we do not want this community to become a recruiting ground for clans. Instead, this flexable approach allows this community to stay togeather.... no matter what games they choose to play.

 

What do you mean by sponsoring a clan?

When we say sponsor, that means this clan is part of the SmartBuggers network. We will provide that clan with all the tools and assistance in developing, organizing, and advertising their clan. This means their own forum space, e-mail forwarding, help with setting up matches, etc. SmartBuggers will never sponsor two different clans for the same game.
